SARS-CoV-2 molecular diagnostics

The new coronavirus — SARS-CoV-2 infections have recently become the main epidemiological and clinical challenge worldwide (Poland included). This article is based on presentation entitled “Hematology transfusion medicine COVID-19” given/conferred during webinar in May 2020. aim was to introduce procedure for diagnosing infection. highlights aspects of pre-analytical analytical phase that are critical quality performed tests affected by both commissioning test-performing personnel. On basis current literature, further recommendations improvement molecular diagnostics also presented.
